Millennium National School

Cent-percent laurels for cent-percent results…

To perform well is one thing and to be rewarded for it is another. Millennium did what it does best, which is to applaud and award its deserving students in the highest order.

It was a very proud moment as all parents, teachers and students gathered in the auditorium on the day of felicitation for Standards 10 and 12.

The guests of honour, Dr. Ashwini Kulkarni – Director of City Pride School and a leading industrialist from the city – Mr. Suryakant Kakade and his wife Mrs. Kavita Kakade were accompanied by our very own Director – Mrs. Anchita Phatak Bhosale, Principal – Mrs. Radhika Vaidya, Vice Principal (Secondary) – Mrs. Sujata Kulkarni.

After a warm welcome to the guests, the senior-most kids of Std. 12 – Ms. Rucha Tambe, Master. Mahimna Kelkar and Ms. Chinamayi Bankar were felicitated.

Ms. Tanvi Ganu, Ms. Reema Gokhale, Ms. Nandika Bhattacharya and Ms. Tanvi Gokhale who were the first three rankers from Std. 10 were felicitated by Mrs. Kakade. The school also rewarded all those who topped in each subject. The auditorium was in an uproar when the best outgoing student of the year awards were handed over to the dynamic and enterprising Tanvi Ganu and Meghraj Bhujbal.

The auditorium witnessed highest accolades when the teachers – the real contributors to the students’ success – came one-by-one on the stage as they were appreciated at the hands of Mr. Kakade.

Appreciation of teachers
The star students expressed themselves and did reinforce the fact that the ultimate credit goes to the teachers for handling them and then getting across to them.

Dr. Ashwini Kulkarni inspired the students by guiding them on a path of setting goals and achieving those happily by doing what you love and being a healthy person in terms of physique and relationships.

All the students held their heads high as they were congratulated by Anchita ma’am for their continuous focus. She also congratulated the teachers for all their hard work and the parents for being so co-operative and encouraging. She hoped that the kids and teachers would keep the dreams and visions of Dr. Sudheer Phatak and Mrs. Vaidehi Phatak alive and make their country proud.

Radhika ma’am concluded with heartiest congratulations to all the achievers and thanked the guests for their inspiration.

Though the felicitation came to an end, the song has just begun. The song of the voice of the future. The young Millennium students on the up rise!
