Guidelines for filling up COF

Dear parents,

Please note the following regarding Centralized Online Admissions 2018-19
Guidelines of all the candidates –

• The students who are seeking admission to schools/ colleges affiliated to HSC Board (Maharashtra State Board) need to buy a booklet containing Online Admission Form from Garware College of Commerce which is the guidance centre for CBSE schools located in Kothrud/ Karve Nagar Area.
• Read the booklet thoroughly and carefully. The forms can be filled only after the CBSE board results are declared as the marks obtained need to be entered while submitting Part A of the form.
• The school index as well as the U-Dise number of the last attended school are non- mandatory fields. The school index number is to be kept blank. The U-Dise number of the school is 27251401417.
• Date of birth should be manually entered as the year 1999 onwards is not available for selection in the calendar provided. The birth date should be entered in the format DD/MM/YYYY.

Guidelines for the candidates belonging to either of the reservation categories –
The reservation categories are –

1. Sports
2. Arts and Culture
3. Wards of Employees of State/ Central Government/ Private sector coming on transfer in the PMC and PCMC on or after 1st October 2017.
4. Wards of Servicemen and Ex-servicemen
5. Wards of Freedom Fighters
6. Handicapped (Divyang)
7. Project Affected
8. Earthquake Affected

Refer to Point 7 (Page no 37 to 39 of the Admission Booklet) for documents required for various reservation categories. Parents are advised to obtain the necessary documents and get those verified before the declaration of results to avoid last minute rush.

• Please note the point 5.12 on page 34 of the admission booklet.
  The applicants passing Std 10 exam from CBSE board should get their documents verified from the guidance centre and must submit their online application at the guidance centre itself i. e Garware College of Commerce.

• Students from Std 10 who have participated in various sports tournaments at State/ National level should meet Ramdas sir in school between 10 am to 1 pm on 1st June. They should carry with them their original sports certificates and their photocopies.
