The following rules and regulations are established to ensure the smooth functioning of the school and to maintain discipline, safety, and a conducive learning environment for all students.
At the time of admission, the following documents must be submitted:
a) Original Birth Certificate / Leaving Certificate (LC) / Transfer Certificate (TC), attested photocopy of the student’s Aadhaar Card, Caste Certificate (if applicable), and attested photocopy of the previous class mark sheet (if applicable).
b) Any health issues, medical conditions, or allergies must be communicated to the school in writing, along with a medical certificate where necessary.
c) In case of divorced or separated parents, a copy of the custody agreement or relevant court order must be submitted to the school.
d) If the student is a citizen of a country other than India, parents must submit self-attested copies of the valid passport and visa.
e) If the mother tongue of the parent or child is Konkani, a declaration confirming the same must be submitted.
f) All documents submitted to the school will be retained by the school and will not be returned, irrespective of circumstances.
If any required documents are pending at the time of admission, they must be submitted to the school office before 7 June 2026.
a) Uniform
Students must wear the prescribed school uniform on all school days, including their birthdays. The school jacket is also part of the uniform and no other jacket is permitted. Students studying in Std. XI and XII may wear any plain black jacket.
Students without proper uniform will not be allowed to enter the school premises or board the school bus.
Parents must label the child’s reference number on jackets, shoes, and shirts to prevent exchange.
Students must come to school neatly dressed in the prescribed uniform.
b) Shoes and Socks
Shoes and socks are part of the uniform and must be plain black and non-fancy.
c) Jewellery
Students are not permitted to wear jewellery, except small ear studs.
d) Hair
Students must maintain neatly groomed hair.
• Boys must keep short and neatly trimmed hair.
• Girls must wear a black hairband only.
• Shoulder-length hair must be tied in one or two ponytails.
• Hair longer than shoulder length must be tied in one or two plaits.
• Only black scrunchies, bows, or clips are permitted.
e) ID Card
Students must carry their identity card daily.
If a student forgets their ID card, a temporary ID card will be issued for that day and must be returned the next working day.
If the temporary card is not returned within three days, a new ID card will be issued and replacement charges will be borne by the parents.
Parents/guardians must carry the Parent ID Card when visiting the school. If identity verification is not satisfactory, the school reserves the right to:
o Withhold handing over the child
o Deny early departure permissions
o Withhold report cards
o Restrict interaction during school events
Duplicate Parent ID Cards will be issued only upon written request and identity verification.
Every student must carry the school identity card every day. Parents/guardians are also required to carry the Parent ID Card whenever they visit the school or come to pick up their child.
In case the Parent ID Card is not carried, an OTP-based verification may be provided only as an emergency arrangement. Parents are requested not to use OTP verification as a regular practice. OTP verification will be allowed only up to three times, after which parents will be required to carry the Parent ID Card for identification.
f) Other Restrictions
The following are not permitted in school:
o Tattoos
o Mehendi (except during religious festivals such as Nagpanchami or Eid)
o Nail paint, Eyeliner, kajal or all forms of makeup
o Long earrings, Jewellery
o Mobile phones
o Watches
For any special occasion requiring Mehendi, prior approval from the class teacher is mandatory.
Students are expected to maintain discipline and good conduct at all times.
a) Students must treat staff with respect and be courteous to fellow students.
b) Students must not damage school property. The school reserves the right to recover compensation for damages.
c) Students must not litter and should help maintain cleanliness of the school premises.
d) Unacceptable behaviour including irregular attendance, academic dishonesty, disruptive conduct, loitering, or disrespect towards staff or fellow students may result in disciplinary action.
e) Bullying or ragging will result in strict disciplinary action and may lead to temporary or permanent suspension.
f) Any misbehaviour or violation of school discipline will be dealt with by the disciplinary committee, and corrective action will be taken. In extreme cases, parents may be called for discussion and the student may be suspended.
g) Parents should not send money with their child unless specifically instructed by the school.
h) Parents should not send valuables such as expensive jewellery or electronic devices to school.
i) Medicines must be sent only in the required dosage with a written note to the class teacher.
j) If a child requires special or constant supervision, parents must follow the guidelines suggested by the school. In certain cases, a shadow teacher or parent accompaniment may be required.
k) Acts such as violence, bullying, use of abusive language, vandalism, harassment, possession or consumption of tobacco, alcohol, drugs, or any unwanted substances will be treated as serious offences and may lead to strict disciplinary action including permanent suspension or termination.
l) Distribution of chocolates, biscuits, cakes, or any food items for birthday celebrations is strictly not permitted on school premises.
a) Regular attendance is compulsory.
b) Medical Absence - Students suffering from an infectious disease must submit a doctor’s fitness certificate before returning to school.
c) Late Drop and Early Pickup - Students are not permitted to enter the school late or leave the school early, except in very exceptional circumstances.
Strict disciplinary action will be taken in case of repeated violations.
d) Long Absence - If a student remains absent for three or more consecutive days, parents must inform the school through a written application stating the reason, along with a medical certificate if applicable.
e) Students of Std. XI and XII are allowed only one entry into the school campus during school hours. Once a student exits the campus, re-entry will not be permitted on the same day under any circumstances.
Students have access to basic First Aid facilities on campus.
The school and amenity provider are responsible only for primary medical assistance. Any advanced medical care will require referral to an appropriate medical facility.
In case of emergency, the school may obtain parental consent telephonically for necessary medical procedures as advised by the attending doctor.
All medical expenses must be borne by the parents.
The school follows an inclusive education policy.
If the school counsellor or special educator identifies that a child requires additional support, parents must cooperate with the recommendations and guidance provided for the child’s development.
Fees may be paid in two instalments as per the notified schedule.
Parents must complete the admission process every year within the specified time period, failing which the admission will stand cancelled and the seat may be allotted to another eligible candidate.
Once the admission form is submitted, parents are liable to pay the school fees for the entire academic year.
If admission is cancelled after submission of the admission form, fees must be paid as per the dates mentioned in the Fee Refund Policy, failing which the deposit amount may be retained.
A new undertaking regarding the continuation or discontinuation of admission to the higher class must be signed and submitted on or before 28 February at the start of the new academic year.
In case of discontinuation or cancellation in the months of April, May, or June, the caution money/deposit refund will be credited to the parent’s account on or before 22 July, provided all documentation is completed.
If cancellation is done after 1 July, the refund will be credited on the 21st of the following month.
Applications or emails for cancellation must be submitted during school working hours. If submitted on a holiday, the request will be considered as received on the next working day.
Admission fee is non-refundable.
Refund of school fees in case of cancellation will be as follows:
o Before 31 March 2026 – 10% deduction of yearly fees
o 1 April 2026 – 31 May 2026 – 25% deduction of yearly fees
o 1 June 2026 – 30 September 2026 – 50% deduction of yearly fees
o After 1 October 2026 – No refund
If the amount already paid is less than the applicable deduction, the parent/guardian will be required to pay the remaining amount. Parent have to claim refund within 15 days from the day of cancellation of admission.
A late fee of ₹70 per week per instalment will be charged for delayed payments.
If fees remain unpaid for two months, the student’s name may be removed from the school rolls.
If a cheque or DD is dishonoured, the applicable bank bounce charges will be payable by the parents.
Educational institutions are currently exempt from GST. If GST becomes applicable in the future, the same will be borne by the parents, including on advance fees.
Parents opting for transport must sign a separate transport undertaking.
The school will not be responsible for transport arrangements made privately, such as auto-rickshaw pools or other unauthorized arrangements.
Parents must ensure that transport providers comply with RTO regulations.
Students who are picked up by parents/guardians (Mamma Child) must be collected strictly at the designated dispersal time. The school will allow a maximum waiting period of 15 minutes after the dispersal time. Parents are requested to ensure timely pickup of their child. The school will not be responsible for supervising students beyond this waiting period.
The student shall not carry any items in the school bus unless specifically instructed by the school. This includes, but is not limited to, food items, crackers, sharp objects (such as knives), mobile phones, or any other prohibited materials.
The student shall maintain proper discipline in the bus and shall not engage in any form of bullying, misbehaviour, or harassment towards fellow students. Any form of bullying, harassment, or misbehaviour towards other students in the bus will not be tolerated and may lead to disciplinary action including suspension of the transport facility.
Throwing any items or waste outside the bus is strictly prohibited.
Students must maintain discipline in the bus. Constant loud noise or shouting is not permitted.
Photographs or recordings of students during any school activities may be taken for sharing on the Institution’s website, ID cards, printed materials, or social media platforms. The parent/guardian permits the Institution to use the child’s photographs for promotional or informational purposes. In case the parent/guardian does not wish the child to be photographed, the Institution must be informed in writing.
For safety and security purposes, the school campus is under CCTV surveillance, and incoming and outgoing calls may be recorded.
The school reserves the right to amend or modify these rules and policies whenever necessary. In case of any unforeseen circumstances or changes in economic conditions, any additional charges, if applicable, will be borne by the parents/guardians.
