Our students won the first place in Pune region Inter School contest Quiz on science and ICT (information and communication technology) for middle school competition sponsored by Microsoft and organized by the Computer Society of India, Pune on 25th February, 2012.
Ashutosh Kulkarni and Eashaan Godbole of class 8 won the contest. These two students will attend the next round i.e. National ICT quiz in Trivandrum.
11 schools participated in this contest with their 74 teams.
First round i.e. the qualifying round based on MCQ quiz was conducted using our myEshala software. This software helped to determine the 8 top scorer teams immediately after the qualifying round. Out of 8 teams who reached the finals two were from our school.
The final round of the quiz was designed by quiz master Ramanand (an IITian) to test the students’ awareness and understanding about Science and ICT. All the students enjoyed the quiz immensely, thanks to the interesting questions and historical pictures about important inventions in science!
Once again, we would like to highlight our base philosophy – all round development!
