Welcome to the Wari at Millennium!!
‘GyanbaTukaram’ chanted the tiny Warkaris of Millennium as their saffron flags danced in the holy aura of ‘AshadhiEkadashi this season!
This traditional celebration on Dt. 23rd July began with the favourite session of Story-telling by the teachers followed by the groupwiseWari procession in which each standard had its own responsibility- the Sr Kg Children were in charge of the ‘Palkhi’, the Jr Kg Children held the holy flags with pride and the Nursery Children danced to the music!!
The tiny eyes shone as the little feet moved to the beats of the ‘Zhanz’ – while the other little hands bearing the (symbolic) ‘Paduka’ of Saint Dnyaneshwar and Tukaram, aware of the sweet holiness of their charge, bore the expression of utmost concentration and satisfaction while some others still danced with saffron flags and enjoyed the beats of the ‘Zhanz’& ‘Lezim’.

An Onlookers delight, this celebration with the beautiful backdrop of Lord Vitthal’s statue decorated by the teachers- was but a sight to behold and to contemplate on the divinity in these little Millennium Warkaris as they carried this holy legacy of Maharashtra into the times to come…
