So there was Ramabai Ranade and Shivaji Maharaj; Lokmanya Tilak and Anna Hazare as well! These characters and more came to life, thanks to our enthusiastic participants of the Fancy Dress competition held on September 15.
Children from Nursery to Class 2 participated. Some came as their favourite historical figures, some as fictional characters (from fairies to Dora) and some as things (from toothpaste to flowers)!
Many chose to deliver strong social messages like saving the environment, planting trees, avoiding pollution and eating healthy.
The little ones displayed great poise and confidence and impressed the panel of judges, Radhika Ingle, Shodhan Bhave and Harshad Rajpathak.
