This October, we finally had the official opening ceremony of the Junior College! And for that we invited our deputy mayor, Mr Deepak Mankar along with the president of the school board, Mr Pradeep Dhumal.

Our volleyball teams made us proud yet again. The Under-14 girls’ team stood third in the inter-school competition organised by Zilla Krida Parishad and Shikshan Mandal. There were commendable performances by captain Mrunal Bhopatkar, Urja Bharatiya, Devashri Joshi and Sharvari Shirole.

On the occasion of teacher’s day, our class 10 students took a peek into the other side of a classroom. They became teachers for the whole school and realized that things are far from easy at that end!

On the occasion of Teacher’s Day, the Pune Municipal Corporation honoured two of our dearest teachers – Mrs Smita Deshpande and Mrs Radhika Vaidya – with the ‘Shikshak Gaurav’ award! It was a proud moment for us as they received their award at the hands of many dignitaries at Bal Gandharva Auditorium.

More than 400 young minds were busy demonstrating the intricacies of ‘How things work’ on 25th August. It was the day of the science fair – and the little geniuses enthusiastically demonstrated and showed the working of many complex operations!

There is never a dull period at Millennium, is there? There are so many events that the place is buzzing with activity! We took the children on a short trip to the poles – Arctic and Antarctica with Dr Maya Sardesai!

The traffic police had a wonderful session with the students of standard 5 to 10. They discussed traffic rules in detail and told the students of how important it was to follow them. They drove home the point that rules are for the citizen’s safety and it is our duty and responsibility to follow them.
