We are so proud to declare, that we have one more National Scholar amongst our midst, Eashaan Godbole, of class 9. This is a very prestigious scholarship and Eashaan is ranked 26th at the national level.
Eashaan is the third National Talent Scholar of Millennium. We had Apurva Ketkar and Chinmay Markale in the previous batches. This is a very prestigious and hard earned title. It used to be for the 10th standard students, then for a few years it was held in the 8th standard. Now, from 2013 the government has shifted it back to the 10th standard.
There are 100 questions that have to be answered in 90 minutes. And scholars have to clear the state talent first, only then are they allowed to appear for the nationals. The top students are awarded the scholarship, which then continues for the entire duration of formal education. Sujoy Shivde and Chandana Nikam cleared the State Talent Search Exam in Diwali last year, but they narrowly missed the NTS.
Meticulous and enthusiastic by nature Eashaan is fond of reading books on a variety of topics. He is always eager to share the ideas and information he gathers. A bright child, as we know him right from nursery, he has an excellent vocabulary and has always been very academically intense. His probing nature, inquiring spirit and hard work has resulted in this grand achievement.
Congratulations Eashaan, we are all so proud!
