This October, we finally had the official opening ceremony of the Junior College! And for that we invited our deputy mayor, Mr Deepak Mankar along with the president of the school board, Mr Pradeep Dhumal. We also had our dear supporters and well wishers with us on stage, Adv Dr Sureshchandra Bhosale and Mr Pradeep Rawat. A few other dignitaries had also joined us for the ceremony.
We started the program by paying our respects and taking a moment to remember our dear founder, Dr Sudheer Phatak whose energy and vision guide us every step of the way.
After that, we had the traditional lighting of the lamp and then the program commenced.
All the guests on stage were welcomed with a coconut and a plant, which is the Millennium way of gifting as you all know. Then, after a few introductions we had the e-opening of the Jr College.
Some of the dignitaries then addressed the students and the parents. There were a lot of students who had achieved winning positions in the events in the first quarter of the academic year. All those students were felicitated.
And then we had a vote of thanks, the deputy mayor sang the pasaydaan and the program came to an end. Quite an event, this one!
