On the occasion of teacherÂ’s day, our class 10 students took a peek into the other side of a classroom. They became teachers for the whole school and realized that things are far from easy at that end!
They handled language, activities, sports, social studies, mathematics and even art and craft. These novice `teachersÂ’ came well prepared, with the syllabus and an action plan. They painstakingly introduced the concepts to the children and cleared their doubts. They also helped correct the worksheets!
They were dressed in a style similar to the teacher whose role they were playing. The actual teachers joined the students and rated the student teachers on their classroom activity. It was a very delightful experience for the teachers as well. Not only did they get a break, they got to see the other side as well.
It was nice and heartening to see our tenth graders take on the responsibility and handle it well. We feel confident that they are ready to step out into the world and go forth and excel. They have good communication skills, a pleasant demeanor and good determination. Keep it up students, make us proud!
